National Ferret Day
and Ribbon Campaign 2008 Posters
In 2007 FERT (Ferret Education
& Research Trust) launched the first recognised
National Ferret Day to raise awareness about ferret
welfare and also give the opportunity for regional
ferret welfare and rescue centres to raise funds for
their own personal projects.
This year in 2008, FERT is
launching the first national campaign ribbon to
promote to the public the need for proper care of
ferrets and also highlight the growing popularity of
ferrets as companion animals.
