FERT is please to announce the next educational leaflet in its public series intended to familiarise interested parties with the topic of 'feeding your ferret'.
Ian Kearns, CEO for FERT says "Previously ferrets have not always been fed the quality of food required to grow and thrive and even today we hear of ferrets still being fed table scraps or even kept on a completely inadequate diet. We have heard stories where ferrets were fed bread and milk which has absolutely zero nutritional value to a ferret and would likely make them very ill and malnourished. Through excellent work by the likes of manufacturers like Supreme Pet Foods, development of species specific foods mean that ferrets can have a diet on which they can grow and be healthy,"
The leaflet covers the following sections:-
- Overview
- Feeding Schedule
- Changing Foods or Brands
- Formulated Ferret Foods
- Treats
- Water
FERT would like to thank its Advisors with their assistance in compiling the data contained and also the ongoing support of Supreme Pet Foods.
