We use only the finest ingredients, combined with Dorset spring water, to create award winning 'Dorset Ales with Real Character'.

Today with David Woodhouse (MD) and Mark Woodhouse (Vice Chairman) at the helm, Hall & Woodhouse can boast a delicious variety of Ales, from the traditional character of Badger First Gold to the quirky essence to Fursty Ferret. We brew a wide range of beers and can offer an ale for all occasions and tastes, whether it be a Blandford Fly with its hint of ginger, Stinger brewed with organic Dorset Stinging nettles or Golden Champion with its subtle elderflower undertone.

With years of experience and dedication our Brewing team have created a range of ales we are truly proud of. First brewed in 2005, Badger First Gold was named 'World Champion Ale' by winning double Gold at the Brewing Industry International Awards (the brewing equivalent of the Oscars!). Our team have also brewed acclaimed beer for Tesco, winning the Tesco Brewing Awards an unprecedented 4 times with England's Gold, Golden Glory, Golden Champion and a brand new, yet to be named ale (coming 2007) and 1 runner up Blandford Fly.

Our award winning ales are available in bottle and can be purchased nationally through retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda, Morrison's, Somerfield, Kwiksave and Threshers so you should never be too far away from a Badger Beer! Hall & Woodhouse also have a growing pub estate with over 260 Tenanted and Managed Houses stretching along the South Coast from Devon to Kent.
